BKH has launched several mass checks this Wednesday in at least 6 apartments.

Official sources told CNA that the prosecutor Dritan Prençi, who is investigating the incinerators file, was the person who ordered the BKH to exercise control in several apartments.

The operation started around 11 am and is still ongoing. Among the apartments that are being checked are some of the houses of journalist EH

The latter was one of Mirel Mërtir's close people, connected to the incinerators issue. He held constant meetings with Mirel Mërtiri in Vienna, even during the time that the latter was on the run.

CNA has also learned that complete documents have been found related to several companies that the journalist had in his name and that of his family members, which he used to get money from the incinerator affair and then make propaganda for them.

The same sources told CNA that in a few weeks, the investigations into the incinerators will come to an end. The files are very complete, it was possible to confirm with thousands and thousands of documents from the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Malta, Albania, private companies, businessmen, journalists and politicians involved in this affair.

After the full completion of the investigations, SPAK is expected to send other people to court, including people from the media field.

The affair of the incinerators is one of the biggest scandals in the history of democracy in Albania, an affair that has exceeded 130 million euros with concession contracts that went for 30 years for about one billion euros.
