Two foreign tourists, who were exploring the Jezerca mountain, have lost contact with each other.

One of the tourists went to Montenegro, while the other got lost in the depths of the Jezerca mountain.

Unfortunately, the tourist lost his life in unknown circumstances. The news is confirmed by the National Civil Protection Agency, which announced that after the search, the dead body was found.

The National Agency of Civil Protection calls on tourists to be careful in high-risk areas and in untrodden areas.

"After receiving the notification, all the operational structures of the Civil Defense, at the local and central level, were immediately engaged.

The Armed Forces' Cougar helicopter has taken off, carrying the medical team and the mountain search and rescue team. An aerial search was launched for any sign of the missing person. At the same time, the mountain search and rescue team was left near the site to continue the search from the ground.

Intensive efforts and coordination of the structures continued for several hours, until it was possible to find the dead body of the person in need.
