This Thursday, the hearing for the "Babale" file will be held at the Court of Appeal.

The judging panel will give the decision for MP Ervin Salianji at 13:00.

After a long delay with postponement of hearings and non-appearance of lawyers in court, today the lid is expected to be put on the "Babale" case, Salianj's fraud regarding an audio-tap of the brother of former minister Fatmir Xhafaj, Agron Xhafaj.

In the last session, "Babalja" took the DP Parliamentary Group to court to "save his head", while yesterday he went public and threatened the judge of the case.

We recall that the "Babale" case started in the spring of 2018, when Ervin Salianji published an audio recording, where according to him, Agron Xhafaj, the brother of the Minister of the Interior at that time, Fatmir Xhafaj, was involved in drug trafficking.

According to the audio-interception, which actually turned out to be a edited material, the brother of Fatmir Xhafaj, Agron Xhafaj, was accused of being caught in wiretapping with a former trafficker, Albert Veliu (Babalja). ( Read here )
