Action of SPAK/ How the criminal group worked, tens of thousands of euros and

SPAK in cooperation with Eurojust and Europol have carried out a mega-operation where a criminal group has been hit, which carried out the illegal activity of cocaine trafficking.

SPAK has given details showing that the cocaine came from Latin America towards EU countries. This criminal group carried out criminal activity in Italy, Albania, Poland and Switzerland.

The suspects laundered their ill-gotten gains through a countless network of companies, run by an Italian-Chinese organization set up for this purpose, which supplied false invoices for around 375 million Euros.

As a result of the investigation, 360 kg of narcotics of the cocaine type, weapons and other valuable items, estimated at the value of 60 million Euro cash, were seized.

Also, 21 inspections of apartments and other premises were carried out. Two members of the criminal group, citizens with the initials JK and AM, were arrested in the act.
