The prestigious American magazine, "Forbes", has released some data on immigration in the world, since 2020.

Albania is listed as the third country in the world with the largest emigration, accounting for 30.7% of the population.

According to "Forbes", 30.7% of Albanians have left Albania and emigrated to different countries of the world.

In fact, the figure should be higher, since if you calculate the departures in 30 years, the births of children and many other factors, it turns out that there is more population that left.

It should be noted that many Albanian immigrants do not have their children registered in Albania, but in the countries where they have moved.

If calculated according to these figures, the Albanian population should be about 4 million inhabitants and 2.2 million should be outside it.

On the other hand, from the population census data of 2023, it was found that Albania had 2,402,113 inhabitants, 419 thousand 831 or about 17% fewer inhabitants.
