The well-known humorist Sejfulla Myftari, otherwise known as Cekja i Berati, addressed the show "Fiks Fare" not as an artist, but as a pimp.
He has a problem with his vacation home in Saranda, because even though no one lives there, he pays water bills of over 6,000 Lek per month.
Cekja has had the house in Saranda for 22 years, but recently he has had the problem of overbilling. He tells "Fiks" that in the two months of July and August, the water bills reach the value of 11,500 Lek without anyone being at home. "I have to ask the neighbors if someone broke my pipe and opened the washing machine", he says humorously.

He then shows that he has applied to UKS for changing the meter and has paid off all significant payments by canceling them in July 2024. But the strange thing is that even though he had cleared everything in UKS, he is still a debtor. The bills for July and August are in the amount of ALL 11,500. He complains again and receives as an answer that it is not the reader's fault, so there is no overbilling, but the clock is to blame.
"Fiksi" together with Ceken turn to UKS customer service and he says that he is aware of the problem, but that the water meter has registered that much. While Cekja explains that the meter has been changed, the employee explains that the measurement of the new clock is reflected in the month of September. Meanwhile, the bills for the months of July and August were issued from the meter that they removed. Asked by Ceka why the debtor leaves when he has made all the payments, the employee explains that there were still unread cubic meters of water in the meter they removed.

While "Fiksi" and Cekja are in the UKS offices, the director of this institution calls the journalist of Fiksi, saying that he is not aware, but that the problem will be solved immediately.
Fiksi accompanies Ceka to his holiday home in Saranda to see the new meter. At the comedian's house, they check for any possible water leaks, which they do not find. Even the neighbors have not complained about any possible leakage, thus being excluded as a fact. Even the UKS specialists who accompanied Ceken home do not see any leakage and together they close every sara?ineska in the house.

A little later, during the water supply schedule, the UKS group goes again and films the clock which records consumption, with no one at home and everything was closed.
The story returns again to the Saranda Waterworks, where it asks for the records of the removal of the old clock and the installation of the new one. How and how is it possible that the new clock also registers consumption.

UKS in its response wrote from the verification done by the group on 09/24/2024, it was established that the water meter continues to record consumption, but without giving an explanation as to why. They also advise checking the line from the water meter to the apartment to find possible defects. Defects that UKS employees, even though they inspected the house, did not find them./ tch
