Lawyer's arrest and release/ Sula: The prosecutor could not help but react

Former MP, Dashnor Sula, commented this evening on the arrest of lawyer, Ulian Barjami, who was released from prison a few hours ago.

Invited to the show "Now with Erla Mëhillin", Sula said that it is unfortunate the situation the justice system is in today. The former MP further added that the prosecutor could not remain without reacting if he was insulted or threatened by the lawyer.

"I regret the situation in which justice as a whole is in. I cannot undertake to speak without knowing everything. I am guessing that if the prosecutor has been threatened, insulted or cursed, what can you expect to calmly tell him to go home. He has no right to react.

It would be insulting if a prosecutor were without identity. The profession of a prosecutor, of a judge, requires nerves of steel. We cannot pretend that we are in a normal place, we are a society with syndromes, a frustrated society that has in its blood the tendency of extreme opposition.
