KLP "slaps" the Chamber of Advocates: We should not rush into

KLP President Mirela Bogdani has commented on the reaction of the National Chamber of Advocates on the case of the arrest of the lawyer in Elbasan and the suspension of court hearings.

According to Bogdani, one should not rush into decision-making without having complete information.

Excerpts from the discussions in the Laws Committee

Mirela Bogdani: We decided that we will first seek information, I have communicated with the head of the prosecution and then we will have written information about the situation and then we will evaluate the position. We cannot express ourselves without having complete information.

Gjin Gjoni: Do you think that the intervention should be quick and immediate?

Mirela Bogdani: I don't think we should rush into making a decision before we have the full information. Part of the reaction from the National Chamber of Advocates is part of democracy and the way institutions function. I think that without having the full information the council will not come to a position.

Gjin Gjoni: Maybe you need to position yourself clearly?

Mirela Bogdani : In the timeframe of tomorrow or the day after tomorrow at the most, we will come out with a position or decide whether we will have a position or not.
