Major internet outage around the world/Here are the blocked applications and sites

A major internet outage is affecting dozens of websites, games and online apps this Monday around the world, including Amazon, Snapchat and Vodafone.

The problems began around 8 a.m. and appear to be related to a problem at Amazon Web Services, which provides the infrastructure that supports much of the modern internet.

According to Downdetector, there are more than 2,000 reports of Amazon Web Services outages in the US alone.

Here's a list of everything that shows up as problematic on Down Detector:

Snapchat, Lloyds Bank, Ring, Amazon, Roblox, Halifax, Xero, My Fitness Pal, Zoom, Canva, HMRC, Blink, Slack, Fortnite, Wordle, Vodafone, Duolingo.

There are also dozens of other websites and apps that appear as affected on the Down Detector website. /CNA
