Injured in fire in Maliq/ Ministry: 6-year-old in critical condition, treatment

New details are being learned regarding the health condition of the 6-year-old, who suffered multiple injuries from the fire that engulfed her apartment in Maliq.

Through a media release, the Ministry of Education announced that the 6-year-old, NA, arrived for medical treatment in the evening hours at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center and was received in the emergency room of the Burn-Plastic Service.

After assessing the health condition, the minor, currently in critical condition, was immediately hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the QSUT.

Currently, the minor is being treated by pediatricians, resuscitators, and burn and plastic specialists, according to all medical protocols in force.

The tragic event occurred this Sunday in Maliq, where a fire that broke out in the kitchen of a house spread throughout the house, causing the flames to grow even larger, leading to the loss of life of two people, a mother and son./CNA
