Journalist Elvi Fundo has published two documents dating from March and April 1943 that document the arrest of Aleks Peles, father of Niko Peles, the Speaker of the Parliament.

In the sealed documents of the time, signed by the Regent of the Police Station, Mehmet Pupa, the announcement of the arrest of Aleks Pelesh, a 16-year-old student for subversive propaganda, is clearly visible.
