Protest for justice against the KLA/ Gucati: Unjust courts are trying to equate

The head of the KLA War Veterans Organization, Hysni Gucati, is in Tirana today, protesting for justice against former KLA leaders.

In his speech in front of "Skënderbej" Square, Gucati emphasized that the Hague Tribunal is attempting to equate the victim with the executioner.

Gucati said that Tirana is protesting to raise its voice for justice and to defend the holy war of those who gave everything for the homeland.

"Today we protest to raise our voices for justice, we are here to defend the holy war of the KLA, to protect the blood of the homeland for freedom and the honor of our liberators. The KLA does not need to prove that it was a liberation army. This has been proven by history, the people and the graves of the Martyrs of the Nation. Unjust courts are trying to equate the victim with the executioner, they want to tarnish our holy war for freedom. We will not allow them to tarnish the names of our commanders. This protest has nothing to do with politics. This is a protest for the Albanian people. We demand justice and equality before the law. Tirana today is the capital. Today from this land we tell the world that we were not criminals, but sons of this nation who gave everything for the homeland", - said Gucati./ CNA
