This is Irfan Domnori from Shkodra. This Friday afternoon he left for Tirana to participate in a nationwide protest in support of the KLA. Irfan says that during the Kosovo war his family took in a family from Peja.

"This is a very special day because we are protesting for our rights as Albanians, for our brothers who went to The Hague to be tried because they defended their rights and homes. Our parents have always talked to us about Kosovo. With the advent of democracy, there was even more talk until the Kosovo army was formed. Even though we were close to home, I took a family from Peja during the war. When the war ended, they flew back like swallows to their homeland. 1 month after they left, I went there to visit them. When they saw me, we all cried. Even though I left 1 month after the war in Gjakova, I still saw houses emitting smoke, an extraordinary barbarity. Afterwards, we kept in touch and I went to sports activities. I strongly condemn the process that is being carried out against those who defended their homes. If equality is needed, why isn't the entire NATO-?" said Domnori.

Irfan Domnori is known as the flag-carrying marathon runner who marches towards Ulcinj on foot every November wearing national clothing and a national flag.
