November 9 elections/ CEC approves registration of DP and PL as electoral

The Central Election Commission held its next session today, where it approved the draft decisions that were on the agenda. At the start of the meeting, the CEC approved the draft decision on the number of ballots for the by-elections to be held on November 9.

The CEC also decided to register the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party as electoral subjects for the mayoral elections in the municipalities of Mat, Tepelena, Berat, Vlora and Cerrik. The agenda also included determining the location of several voting centers in private buildings, which was also approved by the CEC.

"We approve the draft decision on the quantity of ballots for each voting center for the elections to be held in 5 municipalities on November 9. We decide to register the DP as an electoral subject in the November 9 elections. The PL is registered as an electoral subject for the November 9 by-elections. We approve the location of the voting centers and the verification of two of them",  said Celibashi. /CNA
