Part of Operation 'Fast'/ Elbasan Court sets security measures for 14

The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Elbasan held today a session to evaluate the arrest and determine security measures for 14 citizens arrested this week in a bar near the Elbasan-ish-Metalurgji road segment, in the village of Katund i Ri.

The arrests were carried out as a result of a police operation codenamed "Fast", which was conducted under the direction of the Elbasan Judicial District Prosecutor's Office.

Announcement:

After reviewing the Prosecution's request and the parties' claims, Judge Megi Strakosha announced the security measures for the arrested:

"Prison arrest" measure: Akil Kërtusha, Egi Caushi, Maksim Suçi, Stefan Memelli

"House arrest" measure: Ergys Tusha, Ansen Mullai

"Compulsory appearance" measure: Ervin Cani, BM, Jurges Mullai, Blerim Heta, Taulant Zykollari, Arjan Dada, Endri Dada

17-year-old JZ, without security measure

During the operation and subsequent searches in the premises and apartments of the detained persons, the following were seized:

• 3 firearms (pistols) and combat ammunition

• Electroshock glove (neuroparalyzing)

• 4 radios similar to those of the Police

• Vest with the inscription "Police"

• Objects resembling firearms and pistol-shaped flares

• Knife, metal stick

• Significant amounts of money, 4 vehicles, 13 cell phones and DVR equipment

The prosecution has documented their criminal activity and has filed charges for a series of criminal offenses, committed in collaboration, including:

"Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition", "Opposition of a public order police officer", "Failure to report a crime", "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth", "Supporting the perpetrator of a crime", "Unauthorized wearing of a uniform", "Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons ". /CNA
