The Chairperson of the KLP, Mirela Bogdani, today explained how the procedure for the competition for the new head of the Special Prosecution Office will proceed.
In her speech to the Laws Commission, Bogdani stated that today's meeting to approve the list of candidates is the first formal step.
Bogdani said that next, the files of each of the competing prosecutors and their personal and professional profiles will be analyzed.
"Regarding the competition for the head of SPAK, today we held a formal meeting on the legal criteria for prosecutors who have applied for the head of SPAK.
They are part of the structure there. They have passed all these filters not once, but several times, so this procedure was of course formal, but necessary according to the legislation.
"Later we will analyze the files they have brought for each person's profile until the process is completed," Bogdani said./CNA
