Michael Olise, a rising star. The brilliance continues at the World Cup

Michael Oliseh was one of the main protagonists in France's 3-1 victory over Senegal in the World Cup match.

The 24-year-old Bayern Munich forward provided the crucial assist for Kylian Mbappe in the 66th minute, in the move that opened the scoring. With his performance, Olise confirmed the importance he has gained in Didier Deschamps' team in recent years.

Born in London in 2001, he is of Nigerian descent from his father and Franco-Algerian from his mother. Just a few seasons ago he was active at Crystal Palace, while today he is one of the most important players of Bayern Munich and the French national team.

Creativity, vision and quality in the final pass are the elements that distinguish his game. The match against Senegal was another confirmation of his role in France's project for the future.
