In one of the most populated areas of the city of Shkodra, between two large neighborhoods, Parrucë and Xhabije, the idea was born to create a space different from what a neighborhood bar usually offers. “Mocha” came as a need of the community, a close, family-friendly environment, but at the same time modern and with many services.

The concept was clear from the beginning: to build a space where families, young people and children could spend quality time without having to go to the city center. Today, “Mocha” has become a meeting point for the residents of the area, but not only.

"The idea of ??creating Mocha came from seeing that it was a large area, in fact between the two largest neighborhoods of the city. And there was a lack of a place like this for families, for youth, for children. We tried to build a place that gave people these opportunities without having to go out to the center. It was built between these neighborhoods and it has worked well because we see that people like it and people come and come back again. We are satisfied," says the manager, Gerald Doçi.

The place offers a wide range of services from a bar, pizzeria, creperie, piadina and pastry shop, to spaces dedicated to children's games. This makes it a functional environment for all ages, where parents can enjoy a coffee while the children have fun in a safe space.

"There are numerous services from the bar as well as the pizzeria, creperie, piadina, pastry shop. Children's games are also very important, as people want a fun place for children, a place that is close without having to go far. Mocha, as a name, is more related to colors and architecture. It has the colors of Mocha inside and we wanted to convey this," says Doçi.

Although every beginning is difficult, expectations have been exceeded. The bar has been well received by the community and is now frequented by all age groups, from the elderly in the neighborhood, to young people and young families. During the summer season, “Mocha” is also frequented by foreign tourists, who discover it through social networks and appreciate the environment, hospitality and fresh food prepared every day.

Today, “Mocha” represents a new model: a neighborhood pub, but with modern standards and diverse services, giving the area a new social and entertainment center. For those who cannot visit, a “taxi” service is also offered, making the experience accessible to everyone.

"Every beginning is difficult. We had the concept, but we didn't know how it would be received. But it was really well received and we are satisfied. The summer season is more popular in terms of tourism, there are many foreigners. They find us on social networks and come. Shkodra is becoming more frequented and tourists and visitors find a good, welcoming environment, quality food that is prepared fresh every day. These two neighborhoods now have a place to stop and entertain children. It is a place designed for every age and we have customers of every age, from the elderly of the neighborhood, but also from other areas who come every day to drink coffee, we have young people, we have children. It is also a fast food restaurant that makes you spend a good day with delicious food. We invite you to try 'Mocha' at least once and then evaluate it yourself. If you can't come, you can order because we also have taxi services," said Doçi.

With its warm colors, modern ambiance, and wide range of services, Mocha offers a complete experience that goes from morning coffee to fresh lunch dishes, from children's games to a welcoming environment for adults.
