"Korça Open Air"/ The activity program is revealed

The 14th edition of the "Korça Open Air" free flight championship is expected to begin in Korça, a now traditional activity that combines sport, adventure and mountain tourism.

For four consecutive days, from October 30 to November 2, over 50 pilots from Albania, Kosovo and other European countries will compete in the skies of Korça for the “EXTRA Skënderbe” Trophy. The arena of this aerial spectacle will be the Lumalas village Flight Field, where the main precision landing competition will take place, a true test of the pilots’ skills and accuracy.

This year, the novelty is the flight with motorized and cable tow from the ground, a modern way of taking off that is attracting more and more athletes and sky enthusiasts. In addition to the competitions, “Korça Open Air” will offer a festive atmosphere with music, traditional food and activities for children, such as aeromodeling, where the little ones will build paper airplanes and experience the thrill of miniature flight.

This championship has become one of the most important air sports events in Albania and the Balkans, promoting Korça as a tourist destination for adventure and outdoor sports.

The organizers emphasize that the goal of the activity is to bring the excitement of free flights closer to the public and to show that the sky of Korça can be a true arena of sports, adrenaline, and natural beauty.
