Elections in Himare/Celibashi: Counting is expected to close in the early hours of the morning

In a statement to the media, the head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, said that so far the voting process in the Municipality of Himara is proceeding normally. 

He emphasized that the counting of Himara's votes is expected to close in the early hours of the morning. 

"The counting of Himara's votes is expected to close in the early hours of the morning. In one VC, there were unauthorized persons who took note of the voters", said Celibashi. 

As for the issue of expired cards of citizens in Himara Municipality, he said it is not the competence of the institution that it leads.

Celibashi admitted that there are 6,000 voters with expired identity cards, but that this number was also last year./CNA
