In 9 Voting Centers in Himare, the voting process has not yet started.
The CEC has not reported on the opening of the process in these VCs. The reason is still unknown.
23 thousand and 74 citizens of Himara will turn to the ballot boxes to elect the new mayor of their municipality. There are two candidates in the race, Vangjel Tavo from the Socialist Party and Petro Gjikuria from the opposition.
In total, there will be 36 voting centers in Himare, which will be open from 07:00 and will be closed at 19:00 until the last voter leaves.
In the voting centers, the election materials arrived 2 days ago, while the CEC distributed them in the early hours of Saturday morning./CNA
