Gjikuria, accuses Tavos/ "You are an imported candidate, you have nothing to do with Himara"

The opposition candidate for the elections in Himare on August 4, Petro Gjikuria, has concluded the campaign this Friday.

In his speech, he said that the arrest of Freddy Beler is a black mark. He also added that after two months, Beleri will be released, while Himara will be released on August 4.

"What happened to my friend Fredi Beleri is a disgrace. Fredi will be released for two months, while Himara will be released on August 4", said the opposition candidate.

Gjikuria also threw accusations at the opponent, Vangjel Tavo, calling him an imported candidate who has nothing to do with Himara.

"Himara is offered a strange governance model. They bring an imported candidate, who has nothing to do with Himara and the Himariots," he declared.

Gjikuria requested the vote of the citizens to bring, as he said, the deserved change in Himare./ CNA
