On Tuesday afternoon, the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party met. It is learned that the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha requested that the day of the plenary session on Thursday be a day of protests. 

Berisha underlined that the opposition action seems to reach a climax. According to him, this will have to be done because the Socialist Party has announced the voting of changes without the consensus of the opposition to the regulation of the Parliament, where the opposition MPs can now be expelled for up to 2 months.

These ideas of Berisha were opposed in the meeting by Gazment Bardhi, who said that it is not yet time to call the citizens to protest, as the deputies will still have to face this battle, and that it has been publicly said that the deputies must sacrifice for their violated constitutional rights.

"Every citizen's protest at this moment will be misinterpreted by public opinion and that the opposition's struggles cannot be confused with momentary acts. The opposition's strategy should not be influenced by random events", Bardhi is said to have said.

Flamur Noka has also come out on the side of Gazment Bardhi, arguing that such a protest cannot take place at this moment.

"We have declared that the battle will be faced first by the deputies, before we ask for sacrifice from the supporters", he is said to have said.

While Berisha has emphasized that if a protest will not take place this Thursday, it cannot take place after this week, as it would coincide with the moment when he will be stripped of his immunity and this will be considered as a protest for the problem his personal.
