Former deputy Belind Kelliçi made a strong denunciation this evening, as he spoke about the affair at the Tirana incinerator.

Kelliçi said on Alba Alishan's show that evidence has disappeared in the SPAK document and the name of the mayor Erion Veliaj has been removed.

"In the document that was sent on December 7 for Taulant Tuša and for 14 other members, evidence has disappeared. The name of the Mayor has been removed", he said.

The former deputy mentioned several communications between the Ministry of Finance and Erion Veliaj, which he emphasized are missing from the latest file of the GGKKO.

"In the relation of July 7, 2023, there are several communications that are reflected between Mr. Arben Ahmetaj in the capacity of Minister of Finance and Mayor Erion Veliaj. There are 4 repeated requests of the mayor addressed to the Ministry of Finance and receive negative responses from the Minister of Finance.

There is also correspondence between Arben Ahmetaj's predecessor, Shkëlqim Can, and the Mayor of Tirana, that the request for funding from the Tirana Municipality is again rejected. These communications that were in this material are not in the material dated December 7 of GJKKO", emphasized Kelliçi./ CNA
