Berisha, accusation against Veliaj's wife/ "She made the project of the Tirana arsonist"
Former prime minister Sali Berisha has made strong accusat...

The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, has analyzed the position of SPAK regarding the issue of incinerators and the accusations against former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
Through a status on social networks, Manjani states that SPAK's material appears to have been written for public use and is being used by the media according to interest.
He says that the material seems to be a complete vetting that was done to Arben Ahmetaj, as he emphasizes that there is no concrete accusation, but only suspicions.
The former minister says that the doubts go in favor of the accused, not in favor of the accusation, and in this context, SPAK still has a lot of work to do to be able to prove the doubts it raises. According to him, SPAK's rush for a show brings serious consequences.
Full analysis of Ylli Manjani:
Then, the SPAK material of 300 pages that should have been delivered to the Parliament and at the same time to Tirana's whatsapps is interesting to keep the portals busy this summer.
I am impressed by the language in narrative form, which is somewhat unusual for the materials produced by the prosecution. It looks like it was written precisely for public use. Each portal, according to interest, gets the narrative it wants. SPAK has done this job well...
However, the material seems to be a complete vetting that was done to Arben Ahmetaj and the respective families.
It is a material full of doubts that come from analyzed official documents, questions of people and some disclosures of electronic memory found in some people.
But all, or rather all the reports in that material, are still doubts. Add here that there are events from different times that are clearly placed out of context.
To some extent, some of them are even reasonable, but doubts nonetheless.
A concrete accusation cannot be justified with so many doubts. At least not in a fair and impartial court. In a Bolshevik court yes. It talks about the number of pages, not the number of proofs.
Doubt goes in favor of the accused, not in favor of the prosecution.
This means that SPAK still has a lot of work to do before it can prove the suspicions it raises. Always if the court will get out of legal bolshevism.
Logically, at this stage of the process they will have to dig up more evidence, make confrontations, clash facts with the testimony received and professional expertise.
But in order to do this, he will need to have at his disposal the main actors of the doubts. He will have to have at his disposal both official persons from Erion Veliaj to Edi Rama, as well as the private actors mentioned there, Zoto, Mërtiri, Meqemeja, etc., etc. There are many people quoted.
And obviously Ben Ahmetaj himself should be available.
So what serious consequences does the rush to arrest for show bring! The key persons in an investigation cannot be placed at the disposal of the investigation because you removed them from the investigation practically!
This is why professional investigation methodologists do not suggest taking arrest measures in the early stages of the investigation. On the contrary, it is suggested that the suspects be released and their movements monitored until the arrest is flagrant and indisputable.
On the other hand, there are people under arrest and charges who are in parallel trials for the same facts, events or circumstances that are described in this material. Separation of cases does not help but harms fair investigation and trial.
Separation hides, does not reveal the truth.
This material requires evidence and a process of contradiction to arrive at a logical and fair conclusion.
There is another side to this material that we do not know, but justice must find. Otherwise, as far as I read, justice is technically called one-sided.
Leaving them as they are only adds to the level of public rumors and promotes popular justice, which is basically an expression of the public's lack of trust in justice and institutions in the country.
So, if the goal was for the names used there to be judged by the people, the goal has been achieved. But this is not the justice of the law.

And one last thing, Ola Xama was right about Erion Velija. According to SPAK's material, Erion Veliaj started the concession procedure. He asked Shkelqim Cani for support to do the same thing that was done in Elbasan and Fier.
Erion does not deny that this is what SPAK says. Therefore, to leave the attacks with Ola, but seek to contradict himself, in SPAK, this finding. It is understood if there is anything else different to say.
Erion will have work to do as well.../ CNA.al
