It is learned that Mediu has withdrawn from the request for summary judgment.

This has opened the way for the usual trial, which also prolongs the process.

The lawyers have announced that they will seek new expertise on the causes of the explosion and will request the questioning of witnesses who have not testified before.

On the other hand, the lawyers of the families of the victims of Gërdec have requested that Mediu be tried for the charge of "abuse of duty resulting in death or murder" and not for simple "abuse of duty".

The court decided to postpone the session and decided to hold the next session on September 8./ CNA.al
