After the meeting of the government, the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vëngu, announced that important decisions have been made for defense, in particular for "life insurance for military missions abroad", where the Albanian troops face various difficulties.

"With this package, we make sure that all our forces abroad have the necessary coverage for the difficulties they encounter and face in missions abroad", said Vengu, among other things.

In his speech, he underlined that with these initiatives and normative acts, "we pay off the obligations of the three former military weapons factories".

"Support with a financial package for the creation, re-creation, revitalization of a state-owned company with legal financial instruments, which will have the legal financial instruments to enter into cooperation agreements with foreign industries or investors, from NATO partner countries, for them revived this very important industry", said the Minister of Defense./ CNA
