The garbage issue is a worrying problem for the citizens of Tirana. The Political Leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has published today a video showing the situation with the remains on "Allaman Dervishi" Street, near the "Malayzian" complex in Laprakë Unit 11.

In his reaction, Këlliçi underlines that the trash and bins of this area have not been cleaned by the Municipality of Tirana for more than 1 month.

He accuses the mayor Erion Veliaj and emphasizes that garbage has flooded Tirana for a long time, while the citizens continue to pay 80,000 euros per day for an incinerator that does not exist.

Kelliçi calls on the citizens to participate in the next protest that will take place in front of Tirana City Hall on August 29, at 11:00.

Today's Monday marks another record for the 'European Capital of Cleanliness'.
Residents on "Allaman Dervishi" Street, near the "Malayzian" complex in Laprakë Unit 11, inform that the trash and bins in this area have not been cleaned for over 1 month.
