The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku received the US Chargé d'Affaires Nancy VanHorn this Monday in a meeting. In a post on the Facebook social network, Balluku writes that during the meeting

we expressed the joint commitment to continue the close cooperation, as a sign of the excellent relations between our two countries. Wishing her success in her mission in Albania, I introduced Nancy VanHorn to some of the most important projects that Albania is undertaking, where the US has given us unstinting support, especially in the energy sector, writes Balluku.

Meanwhile, Mrs. VanHorn, for her part, during the discussion emphasized the importance of strengthening business and investment ties between the United States and Albania, as well as support for strategic projects throughout the country and the region.
