The deputy of the Democratic Party, Tritan Shehu, in a reaction on social networks, has severely criticized the Minister of the Environment for granting a universal license for the transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

According to Shehu, this license is a clear example of a "clientelistic license" that allows everything without any sufficient control.

Shehu emphasizes that this license is given with very short documentation and without specifying the categories of waste to be transported, as well as without any information about their destination and origin.

He expresses concern that hazardous waste encompasses many categories, including those from the manufacturing, construction, medical, biological, toxic, poisonous and nuclear industries, necessitating detailed separation and treatment.
