Hoxha meeting with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana: New

The Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, hosted the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, with whom he talked about bilateral relations, noting the strong friendship between the two countries, cooperation and strong strategic partnership.

Minister Hoxha thanked the representative of the US Embassy for the unsparing support to Albania's law enforcement agencies, especially the ICITAP program, with a focus on assistance to the State Police.

Regarding the meeting, the Minister said that "it was a pleasure to meet today with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, with whom we confirmed not only the friendship between the two countries, but also reiterated the strong strategic partnership".

Thanking the representative of the USA for the support to the State Police, Minister Hoxha emphasized that "he met Mrs. VanHorn with some of the priorities in his job as Minister of the Interior, also thanking him for the valuable contribution that the ICITAP program offers to the State Police and Albanian law enforcement agencies, in order to increase security parameters".

The meeting also discussed other topics of interest to the citizens of both countries.

"In this first meeting, we talked about the new possibilities of deepening and expanding cooperation for the well-being of our citizens", says Minister Hoxha after the meeting./CNA
