The country has been covered in garbage for months/ Shehi-Rama: Go clean up

The Chairman of the Movement for National Development, Dashamir Shehi, through a post on social networks, has denounced the chaotic situation with urban waste that has caused numerous problems throughout the country for months.

The sheikh has called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to clean up the garbage on the country's roads, as he says that in 150 km of roads, there was not even 100 m of clean road.

The head of the LZHK appeals to Rama to use the funds for the clean-up campaign and not for the electoral one, because they affect tourism

"I'm telling you a few words about something that I believe you've all seen. I just returned from Korça and Pogradec, it's almost 150 km of road and I didn't see 100 meters without trash. On the side of the road, all of Albania is a huge trash can that is a great shame for our eyes, not because maybe we're used to it, but for those who will come for the summer, the tourism that we talk about so loudly.

That's why I'm saying first of all to Mr. Prime Minister who tells us every morning about the great beauties of Albania: Go clean up Albania! At least the roadsides, that all of Albania is cleaned up, is a titanic task.

We're not asking for river beds, clear the side roads so that when strangers come on the road, they can pass.

"What will you decide once you have the army, will you decide the municipality or additional money? Don't spend the money on the campaign, spend it on the cleanliness campaign, you will do Albania a great honor," says Shehi.

The problem with urban waste in many municipalities has been created due to the malfunctioning of incinerators, which take hundreds of thousands of euros a year from our taxes, and is considered the biggest affair of recent decades./CNA
