Journalist Enton Abilekaj criticized the Government and Prime Minister Rama today for going to parliament only to accuse the opposition, not to control, not to go through interpellations, not to correct decisions.

In a television appearance, Abilekaj analyzed parliamentary activity, emphasizing that this 4-year-old has had one of the most dynamic parliaments.

Abilekaj criticized Prime Minister Rama, saying that he only goes to speak, to keep his word, and to insult the opposition in the Assembly.

"This 4-year term has undoubtedly been the most dynamic of all parliamentary terms, despite the fact that the 2-month break now and the balance sheet made by the speaker of parliament are not actually a final closure of the legislature, but a temporary closure. Surprisingly, because due to an electoral code that we have made, after the elections we reconvene the old parliament until September, which is an incomprehensible absurdity.

However, this has been one of the most dynamic parliaments. It began on the famous September 9, 2021, when Sali Berisha was expelled, and is now closing.

The Prime Minister has only made one interpellation in the last 2 years, while he has delegated the others.
The Prime Minister goes to speak, to hold a speech and to insult the opposition in parliament and leaves, he doesn't stay for a second.
The main ministers do this too. The only minister who is always in parliament and who deals with parliament is the minister of parliament, dedicated to relations with parliament. It was Spiropali and now it is Balla, who deal with the replies to the opposition.

So, the government goes to parliament only to accuse the opposition, not to control, not to go through interpellations, not to correct decisions.

"This parliament has approved decisions, laws with the name of a person when it comes to the Port of Durres, for example. So we can say that this parliament has never managed to control the government, it has been used by the government, but the opposition in the last 2 years has managed to give meaning to parliamentary life, by uniting and finally creating an imposing parliamentary group," said Abilekaj./CNA
