Last plenary session before the elections / Parliament approves the draft law

This Monday, the proceedings for the last plenary session before the parliamentary elections on May 11th took place. Today, the Assembly approved 2 draft laws on the agenda and 9 draft decisions scheduled for this session.

The draft law "On some additions and amendments to Law No. 75/2019, "On Youth" was approved with 71 votes in favor, 1 abstention and 17 votes against.

The draft law "On the Albanian Development Bank" was approved with 70 votes in favor, while receiving 1 abstention and 16 votes against.

Meanwhile, 9 draft decisions were also approved, in this order:

-Draft decision "On some amendments to the Assembly decision no. 127/2018 "On the approval of the structure, organizational structure and categorization of job positions of the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT)".

-Draft decision "On the approval of the 2024 Annual Plan for the Implementation of the Official Statistics Program 2022-2026".

-Draft decision "On the election of Ms. Laureta Roshi as member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania".

-Draft decision "On the election of Ms. Etleva Smaçi as member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania".

-Draft decision "On the election of Mr. Mentor Beqa as a member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania".

-Draft decision "On the election of a member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania from the candidacies of the Academy of Sciences.

-Draft decision "On the election of Ms. Alma Mirakaj as member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania."

-Draft decision "On the election of Mr. Simon Mirakaj as member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania."

-Draft decision "On the election of Mr. Niuton Mulleti as member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania. /CNA
