"Vaçe Zela" Cinema in Lushnja/ Rama and Balluku inspect the

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, during their visit to Lushnja, inspected the project for the revitalization of the "Vaçe Zela" Art Center, in the Lushnja municipality, located in the "Lushnja Congress" neighborhood, in the city center.

The center with complex functions such as theater, cinema, social and cultural activities, etc., is a building built in 1974 and the new project, thanks to a contemporary concept of a multifunctional art center, includes the construction of a modern theater hall, cinema, a moving stage, puppet theater, exhibition space, art courses for young people, all an ideal space for various theatrical, musical and artistic performances.

"Work is going very well at the "Vaçe Zela" theater with all the reconstruction that the Fshzh is doing. We have also made an agreement between the municipality, Eriselda and the Fshzh to turn this part here into a museum, after we have identified many old pieces inside this theater, such as a piano, or clothes that were part of the costume design to be used. And we have left this part here to be a little darker and to have the opportunity to exhibit these items that are valuable for the history of the theater. We have a rotating stage. It is the second in Albania after that of the Theater and Opera, and a Puppet Theater has also been attached to the building, which will also function as a cultural center," said Balluku.

"The entire building will be revitalized, giving life to the basements as well. The ground floor was a warehouse, now we are thinking of turning it into a cultural area for children and young people with various musical and artistic courses. The entire outside area will be in the form of a flower garden. It will be completely cleaned," said Balluku.

Prime Minister Rama praised the work done to realize the project and advised on some additional artistic elements.

Currently, all infrastructure, systems, networks, water supply and sewage works are being completed. /CNA
