Plan for increasing salaries/ Rama: They will be competitive with the region

Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a conversation with teachers in the city of Lushnja today. In his speech, Rama focused on salary changes, presenting a little bit of the plan for change for Albania by 2030.

Rama said that the Government has objectives for salaries and pensions, for which he requested that more work be done.

Rama emphasized that the plan to increase salaries aims for salaries that are competitive with countries in the region.

"For the Albania of 2030, greater steps must be taken than to date."

Many foundations have been laid so far.

There are many things ready and many taboos have been broken.

It is no longer a place that is viewed with great astonishment.

We will share the objectives we have for salaries and pensions.

First there will be the overview, then the plan.

But it is certain that if today we have an average salary of 830 euros, this is a meaningful figure for the position we are in.

Once we get here, we can go even further.

We have compared our salaries with salaries in the region.
