Topalli: In the last 10 years we have had a state without rights for citizens

DP MP Jozefina Topalli stated during her speech at the Parliament podium that the failure of the Justice Reform is more dangerous than the failure of any other reform.

Topalli also stated that in the last 10 years, Albania has not had a Supreme Court. She said that in these 10 years we have had a state without rights for citizens.

"When reform fails in justice, it is more dangerous than the failure of any other reform. After 10 years, we are faced with a situation that has nothing to do with the reports we have heard. After 10 years, of which 5 have been without a constitutional court, it means that we have lived with an arbitrary system and state. In these, we have lived with the absence of the Supreme Court. We have had a state without rights for citizens. If an office lacks a judge, the law dies there. If an office lacks a prosecutor, crime survives there ," Topalli said, among other things. /CNA
