The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Enea Karakaçi, today, during a media briefing, also addressed the situation with Vlora Airport.

Karakaçi said that there is currently a commercial and civil dispute between the partners.

According to the minister, it has been requested that these disputes not become an obstacle to the functioning of the airport, which is in advanced works, and for this a one-month deadline has been given.

"Vlora Airport, as has unfortunately become widely known in the media, has a commercial, civil dispute between two of its partners. These partners have offered to build this airport themselves. This has also had a kind of impact on the image of the airport. The Ministry has been careful in its communications with the operators. I have requested through a letter that these disputes not become a problem for the functioning of the airport. I have also given them a 30-day deadline. The airport has advanced in its work and this is evident. There are penalties for every day of delay," Karakaçi said. /CNA
