"A regime has been installed"/ Lubonja: Election manipulation took

Analyst Fatos Lubonja stated today that the manipulation of the parliamentary elections took place before May 11.

Invited to the show 'Log.', Lubonja stated that there are two narratives regarding the situation with the election results.

Lubonja accused that a regime has been installed that does not relinquish power through an electoral process.

"The opening of the ballot boxes seems to me like much ado about nothing. This is because the manipulation of the elections was done before May 11. We have a kind of party-state that controls everything. A party that wins more votes in every election has the explanation that the control of power by the Socialist Party has increased. It is not a success of governance, because there have been many scandals in these years, and this idiotic people are not about not punishing the government. There are two narratives. One narrative is that we have problems, but we have made steps forward. The other narrative is that it is not about moving forward, but about stabilizing a regime that controls the votes more and more and more anxiously. I believe that the second one is more credible as a narrative. The elections continue to be contested and Albania has not been able to build an uncontestable electoral system and is a country that does not pass the test of democracy. A regime has been installed here that does not relinquish power through an electoral process. Even the opposition has said that there are no free elections and then says that "I will run in the elections and I will win, and this is also contradictory," Lubonja said./CNA
