Democratic MP Ina Zhupa described some of the changes in the draft law on sports as a centralized act without real public consultation.
In her speech at the Assembly session, Zhupa criticized the provisions of Articles 3 and 6 of this draft law and accused the law of double standards.
"In Article 3, KOKSH takes an official role in sports activities outside of school hours, violating the existing competencies of school and university sports federations. You are restoring the model of enterprises with their own teams. You will do sports together, you, Madam Minister, and Fideli. In Article 6, direct funding from the budget is foreseen for organizations like KOKSH and other sports foundations built by the government itself, without clear criteria and without transparency. It is a division with double standards of mother and stepmother. With voice and image, in the Education Commission, Ylli admitted that he made the law himself. So, it is a centralized act, without real public consultation", - said Zhupa./CNA
