According to Rama, the judge is siding with the prosecutor and once emphasized that he is against the detention of Erion Veliaj.

"I am against the mayor's detention, unnecessary to continue. How can I stop the execution? We want independent justice without looking left and right. The judge becomes the prosecutor's partner, where the accused is presumed innocent, not in words, but also in how he is given the opportunity during the judicial process to bring his own evidence. This is a matter of principle," Rama said.
