Journalist Ola Xama today provided details about the assets of the Veliaj-Xoxa couple, focusing on their villa in Qerret.

Invited to a television show, Xama spoke about the property exchange by Ajola Xoxa's family, emphasizing that the transaction does not match market value. She added that the Special Prosecution Office has not found any contract to support this agreement and that the driver of the deceased, Mr. Xoxa, has denied ever accompanying him to the villa he acquired.

Xama said that Ms. Xoxa's driver admitted to accompanying her to Qerret to deal with the villa's furnishings and design. Tax documents also show that the villa was registered in the name of a company linked to a businessman, while payments for its maintenance were made by Erion Veliaj in 2020 and 2021.

"The family of Mrs. Ajola Xoxa's parents had a 120 square meter apartment in the "Marea" complex in Qerret.

They claim that they exchanged this apartment for a villa with an area of ??190 square meters and 440 square meters of land, i.e. a larger property.

The apartment was purchased for 80 thousand euros, while the price that would change to buy the villa was an additional 30 thousand euros, which does not match either the purchase price of the apartment, nor the market value in 2020, when the exchange took place, nor that of 2018, when this exchange is alleged to have taken place.

SPAK also says that there was no contract. The deceased's driver, Mr. Xoxa, was also questioned, who stated that he never accompanied the deceased to the villa in Qerret. But Mrs. Ajola Xoxa's driver admitted that he accompanied her to Qerret several times together with the house's architect, where she dealt with the furnishings, architecture and design.

If we go back to the reports made, it is alleged that there were two villas, one of which was demolished to create a larger yard and a swimming pool.
