Mayor's arrest/Berisha: The first person Erion Veliaj called was Rama

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, speaking in a live broadcast on Facebook, said that the first person to call Erion Veliaj after his arrest was Edi Rama. Berisha said that the prime minister did not answer because it was the latter who ordered the mayor's arrest.

The leader of the DP continued the accusations against the majority regarding the incinerators and called the majority crazy about garbage.

"The first person Erion Veliaj called was Edi Rama. A phone that was never answered, because he had ordered the arrest himself. You are hopeless, I tell you. Ermonela, how could Ulsi's granddaughter take the landfill built by the previous government?

"These people are crazy about garbage. They took over Tirana's burning, in a competition on how to extort more. Rama should come and give an account for the money he has stolen from taxpayers ," said Berisha.
