The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, demanded today that a resolution be adopted in parliament, condemning hostile acts against Albanians and democracy.

During his speech in Parliament, Berisha said that Edi Rama is the only one in Europe who has arrested the leader of the opposition.

Berisha emphasized the words of US Vice President JD Vance, according to whom the most dangerous enemy of a state is the internal enemy, which he linked to some of the recent events in the country.

"Dear citizens, this parliament pretends not to exist. Two days ago, the US Vice President explicitly told Europeans, Albanians and the world that the most dangerous enemy is the one you have inside, because it is that enemy that arrests the leader of the opposition.

And the only opposition leader in Europe who has been arrested is Edi Rama. Lukashenko has not, he is abroad, he is not in prison.

They were told that your internal enemy is the one who closes your social media, and Edi Rama has decided to close the Tik Tok social network because he cannot stand the criticism, mockery, and ridicule of young people and citizens.

Now, I have my proposal: Edi Rama should urgently come to parliament and urgently approve a resolution condemning these hostile acts against Albanians and democracy.
