"Finally, a mistake is corrected"/ Taulant Balla meets with immigrants

The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, held a meeting with Albanians in Parma, Italy. Balla called for the participation of the Diaspora in the May 11 elections.

Minister Balla calls emigrant voting in parliamentary elections a historical debt.

 

"I believe that in the 17 days remaining until March 4, there is still enough time to double the number of those who should be part of the May 11 vote. The May 11 vote is an important vote. It is about the first elections since March 31, 1991 where a mistake or a historical debt is finally corrected," said Balla.

 

Minister Balla further expressed his gratitude and described Italy as the main supporter of the path to the EU.

" We are grateful to Italy and the Italian governments without any doubt for their support and interest in us. I hope that in the coming days the Italian parliament will vote for the recognition of pensions for a full 500 thousand Albanians who benefit. Why didn't the governments negotiate it before? Italy remains the main supporter of the path to the EU and we aim to close the path to the EU so that 2030 finds us members of the EU. Feel yourself equal among equals in the great family of Europe. This is a reunification of Albania with Europe. As Naim Frashëri used to say about us Albanians, the sun rises from the west and the first to come to us is Italy ", Balla said./ CNA
