The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, inspected today the progress of the works for the rehabilitation of the Kombinat-Ndroq-Plepa road axis.

Balluku said that so far 25% of the works have been completed, which according to the minister require time and care, due to the relocation of water and energy lines.

Balluku said that the axis will be ready for citizens in May 2026.

"It is important for citizens to know that 25% of the work has been completed.

The works require care due to displacement.

The sewers, drinking water lines, and OSHEE are being relocated.

Therefore, it takes time and requires care.

The work is done with a construction site and cars can pass through.

Traffic diversion has only been done for some segments of the road.

The requests of the residents of the area for the redevelopment of the Kombinat-Plepa road were made known several times in the Assembly.

And the Government took action.

According to plans, completion will be in May 2026.

"After 1 year, the road will be of category I and European quality," said Balluku./CNA
