May 11th elections/ Berisha coalition with Meta, where the leader of the PL will

DP leader Sali Berisha has spoken about the May 11 elections and the coalition with the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.

Invited to the show "Opinion", Berisha said that Meta will compete in the May 11 elections and will be positioned on the closed list.  

According to Berisha, Meta will be on the closed list because he is in prison and cannot campaign.

Excerpts from the show 

Sali Berisha: We are open to all parties that want to unite in an opposition front against this great evil that has befallen Albania.

Blendi Fevziu: Including Agron Shehaj? Including Adriatik Lapaj?

Sali Berisha: Everyone is not excluded, except for one person who excludes himself, that is, everyone else without exception.

Blendi Fevziu: Do you have it for Basha?

Sali Berisha: Balla, Basha are one now.

Blendi Fevziu: Ilir Meta, what position will he have on your lists?

Sali Berisha: Ilir Meta will finalize the coalition and absolutely has the full and total support of the Albanian opposition. He is a political prisoner.

Blendi Fevziu: Will he be on the election lists?

Sali Berisha: Without a doubt.

Blendi Fevziu: On closed lists?

Sali Berisha: Can he campaign from prison? He can't campaign from prison, if he were out of prison he wouldn't agree to be included on closed lists because he was campaigning.

Fatos Hakorja: There are rumors that you may travel to the US before the May 11 elections. How true are these?

Sali Berisha: I have no knowledge of this. I am working day and night with these people because it is not just this one, there are also others who are very, very powerful with him./ CNA
