Journalist Klodiana Lala spoke about the investigations that have been conducted into the Veliaj-Xoxa couple and the corruption schemes in which the mayor and his wife were involved.

Invited to "MCN TV", the journalist revealed details about Sokol Kryeziu, who from a broom, a bill collector, became a business and bought Ajola Xoxa's paintings.

Klodiana Lala: Sokol Kryeziu worked as a sweeper, then as a loading and unloading worker, then a bus bill collector and a controller. Suddenly, this guy who did these jobs for 400-500 thousand lek per month, bought the Gerald-A company for 33.4 million lek and received 23 tenders from the Municipality of Tirana.

Ola Xama: He has received a total of 23 tenders from this company with a total value of 6 million euros.

Klodiana Lala: With all due respect to working people, what is unclear is that someone else is behind this is that this person wins tenders from the Municipality of Tirana and buys paintings from Ajola Xoxa's "Nan Galeri" for 50 million old lekë. So he gets the tenders and spends some money and buys paintings from Xoxa.

Mr. Shkëlqim Fusha has previously been investigated by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for the trips he had with the deputy mayor, Maznik. A preferential law was also made for him to get land for the theater. As soon as the construction permit was approved, the money was transferred to the account of Ajola Xoxa's two lawyers and they said that Ajola Xoxa sent it to us. There is a conversation between Adela Kondakçiu, who is Ajola Xoxa's financial "brain", it is unclear about the amount of money that she tells the lawyer how much money is ours and how much is yours.
