The Central Election Commission announced today that the Regulatory Commission approved the technical characteristics of the ballot for voters residing outside the territory of the Republic of Albania, for the Assembly elections of May 11, 2025.

The ballot papers from abroad will be made of paper, will have the same color, thickness and configuration elements such that they do not allow the vote to be read on the back, just like the ballot paper from within the territory of the Republic of Albania.

The ballot contains technical elements in the form of codes that identify the electoral zone, the voting center, as well as other identifying elements that are not readable with the naked eye.

In addition to the paper's security elements, the ballot will also contain several technical elements in the form of codes that identify the district and other identifying elements that are not readable with the naked eye (QR code).

The ballot paper from abroad will have a special distinguishing element from the ballot paper from within the country:


1. The top of the ballot where the general elements of the ballot are placed is colorless (white) with a height of 30 mm and this ballot is named "OUTSIDE BALLOT".


2. On the back of the ballot paper there will be two vertical stripes of a color similar to blue, with the code (CMYK): (C 70%, M 0%, Y 31% K 0%). /CNA
