Property investigations for the Veliaj-Xoxa/Shehaj couple: Data was obtained from their economist

Economics expert Brisida Shehaj shared some information today about the wealth investigations into the Veliaj-Xoxa couple.

In a television show, Shehaj provided details regarding the investigative file on the assets of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and his wife, Ajola Xoxa.

According to Shehaj, the data from the wealth investigation in Veliaj's file was mostly obtained from the phone of Ajola Xoxa's economist, Adela Kondakçiu.

The economic expert also emphasized that 'those hundreds of thousands of euros that were taken from the Tirana Municipality budget, Erioni paid for himself'.

"The file is an investigation. For the first time, prosecutor Ols Dado has conducted a perfect and chronological investigation. Ajola Xoxa was a professional, she has her own NIPT, but there are names of companies that paid an additional 300 thousand euros to Ajola Xoxa's company that are not mentioned in the investigation, as she has income as a lawyer.

1.1 million euros are linked, part of them directly to Tirana Municipality funds with Erion Veliaj's signature given to newly created NGOs by his uncle, his uncle's daughter-in-law and Ols. Dado has made a perfect 'money chase' that neither Dritan Prenci for the incinerator, nor Klodian Braho for 5D, nor Edvin Kondili for sterilization.

The key person in this whole story is called Adela Kondakçiu, who is the economist, and Ols Dado started by questioning these lowest-ranking employees and eventually arrested Erion Veliaj and Ajola Xoxa.

That file has one detail, the economist's phone was not seized by order of Ols Dado for Erion Veliaj's file, but was seized in September 2023 for Jorgo Goro's file because it also served as an economist for Artan Gaçi.

Every lek that Ajola Xoxa makes, even if she is a 100% shareholder and the money she receives through inheritance, 50% of that money automatically belongs to Erion Veliaj, even if he divorces her.
